There’s a storm brewing over Atlanta this Autumn. And within its eye is the Coca-Cola Roxy, presenting Platinum-certified singer-bassist Thundercat LIVE this Wednesday, October 15th, 2025! Several weeks after his Telluride Festival set, the 40-year-old “No More Lies” hitmaker will depart on a new untitled tour across North America with nine cities plotted on its limited course.

Don’t pass up this window to hear gripping concert versions of your favorite jazz and groove-heavy melodies from Thundercat’s GRAMMY-winning “Best Progressive R&B Album” It Is What Is It (2020), which featured the RIAA Gold single “Dragonball Durag,” plus classics such as “Them Changes,” “Black Qualls,” and “Funny Thing.”

Also known as Stephen Lee Bruner, our headlining musician will cover a widely acclaimed backlog of studio albums and songs as he returns to the road following his latest release as producer on Mac Miller’s second posthumous record, Balloonerism (2025). It’s Thundercat’s long-awaited comeback — book concert reservations today!

Key Details

Progressive R&B and jazz-centric musician Thundercat is pressing pause after capping off his concert takeover in South America this August. But before long, he’s heading out on his next North American tour this Fall 2025 — an exclusive 9-city romp that kicks off at the Coca-Cola Roxy on October 15, Wednesday!

A month following his Telluride Festival appearance in Colorado, the Los Angeles-born bassist will hit Atlanta, Miami, Brooklyn, Washington, Philadelphia, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, and Denver to keep busy while continuing a now two-year sabbatical from recording his own music. Thundercat comes off a string of joint projects in recent times, which includes 2023’s “No More Lies” single with Tame Impala and a 2024 performance alongside the “Yo Gabba Gabba!” cast on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts. This year, he also penned his name in production credits across six tracks on Mac Miller’s second posthumous album, Balloonerism. Soon, he’s taking the spotlight back in the middle of October from the LIVE stage with best-selling songs like “Them Changes” and “Dragonball Durag” at the forefront.

Thundercat (born Stephen Lee Bruner) is among the most adventurous bass players of the last decades, made even more memorable by his uniquely sweet vocals and genre-hopping tendencies. Long-standing fans know what to anticipate. But for those of you out of the loop, this multi-award-winning artist brings astounding funk, R&B, and electric jazz characterized by nimble, groove-defined basslines to the table. His latest, critically acclaimed record, It Is What It Is (2020), clinched “Best Progressive R&B Album” at the 63rd Annual GRAMMYS and charted the singer’s highest spot on the Billboard 200 at No. 38. Based on previous outings, you can expect a catalog-wide setlist featuring such feats of bass-driven beats and melodies as “Funny Thing,” “Walk On By,” “Show You the Way,” and “Black Qualls.”

If you’re craving for complete musical immersion, then you can’t do much better than one of Atlanta’s most iconic venues. Our host promotes atmosphere with its dynamic light shows and a versatile floor layout, offering intimate views of the stage. When the audience starts jumping, the air turns electrified!
