The Early Songs of Elvis Costello” Tour, performed by Elvis Costello & The Imposters with guest Charlie Sexton, will land a nostalgia-filled show-stopper at the Coca-Cola Roxy on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025. On their tour’s extended North American stretch, Elvis Costello & The Imposters will play out 22 additional nights of iconic songs from the singer’s debut, My Aim Is True (1977), across the turn of the ‘80s until back-to-back records King of America (1986) and Blood & Chocolate (1986) – with “other surprises” to anticipate. This AEG Presents production is a celebration of a true songwriting pioneer, England’s answer to Bob Dylan, one who earned much recognition from major award institutes like the Grammys, BAFTA, ASCAP, and MTV. Elvis Costello gives you NINE YEARS of unprecedented classics and Top 40 singles that resonated beyond the UK charts. Upon debut, he notched the trademark ballad “Alison” along with the No. 15 single “Watching the Detectives,” building a ramp from where he launched dozens of the following era’s power-pop and new wave standards.
